After graduating from the University of Tennessee, where she received her undergraduate degree in nursing, Jorie moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she worked as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

While working as a nurse, Jorie attended Belmont University College of Law and was a member of the Belmont Health Law Journal. Jorie brings her healthcare knowledge and experience to fight for people on their worst days. She focuses primarily on Criminal Defense, Family Law, Orders of Protection, and Administrative Law in front of various professional boards including the Board of Nursing.

When she is not practicing law or nursing, Jorie enjoys spending time with friends and family or getting outdoors with her golden retriever, Sunshine.
