Alexis is a Middle Tennessee native and a Blue Raider alumnus. At Middle Tennessee State University, she majored in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience and double minored in Pre-Law and Art. During the years spent earning her undergraduate degree, Alexis worked as a Legal Assistant at a Tax Law and Estate Planning law firm in West Nashville.
Alexis is pursuing her Juris Doctor at Nashville School of Law, with hopes to work as an attorney at our firm eventually. In addition to gaining relevant work experience for her career, working as a paralegal brings her meaning and purpose as she assists our attorneys in advocating for our clients. Through her work, Alexis aims to embody Justice Scalia's view that "There is a profound spiritual connection between a human being and his or her work. What we do for a living is, at once and at the same time, an expression of our identity and a formation of it. It is less true that we are what we eat than that we are what we do to eat."
When she is not studying the law or working at our firm, Alexis enjoys spending time with her family, listening to live music, fitness, reading, and trying new food.
