Andrea Cardenas, Law Clerk

Andrea holds a law degree from the Universidad Libre de Colombia, and had a career in law in her hometown of Cucuta, Colombia. In May of 2023, Andrea obtained a Master of Law (LLM) degree from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Andrea has lived in Nashville, Tennessee since 2019. During her time in Tennessee, Andrea has dedicated her professional skills to the local community through active participation in organizations such as Tennessee Justice For Our Neighbors (TJFON) and Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRCC). Her fluency in both Spanish and English is a vital asset to the firm and she ensures our Spanish speaking clients are able to effectively communicate with our attorneys and staff.

Beyond her professional efforts, Andrea finds joy in spending time with friends and family, often gathered around a barbecue. She has a passion for traveling and immersing herself in diverse cultures, savoring exotic cuisines as she goes. She enjoys Latin music and takes great pleasure in reading novels that explore the intricacies of the legal world.
